A Phoenix plumbing crew that tells you the price first
Saguaro Flow started with one plumber, one van and a simple idea: tell people what's wrong, what it costs, and what their options are, before touching anything. That's still how we work.
How we got here
Ray Ochoa grew up in Maryvale and learned plumbing working for a big Valley shop. He liked the work and hated the sales script: the push to replace instead of repair, the hourly meter, the "we'll see when we open it up." So he went out on his own with a single van and a rule he wrote on the dashboard: price first, then work.
Word got around Arcadia and Tempe, then the East Valley. Today Saguaro Flow is a small crew of licensed plumbers and a dispatch team in Phoenix. We're still not the biggest plumbing company in town, and we don't want to be. We'd rather be the one you call back.

What we believe

The price comes before the wrench
Every job gets a written flat-rate quote before work starts. If the plumber finds something unexpected, we stop, show you and quote it before going further.
Repair when repair makes sense
We'll fix a fixable water heater. We'll suggest a reroute instead of a full repipe if that's honestly the better deal for you. You'll hear the cheaper option first.
Desert-specific, not generic
Hard water, slab foundations, attic heat and monsoon season shape every recommendation we make. A checklist written for Ohio doesn't fit a house in Chandler.
Treat the house like ours
Shoe covers, drop cloths, a vacuum on every truck. We put back what we move and haul off what we replace.
We stand behind our work
If something we fixed isn't right, call us and we'll come back and make it right.
Meet the crew

Ray Ochoa, founder & master plumber
Still runs calls most weeks, especially slab leaks and repipes. Grew up in Maryvale; still eats at the same taco place.

Danielle Brooks, lead plumber
Our water heater and tankless specialist. Will tell you exactly how much scale she pulled out of your heater.

Tomás Reyes, service plumber
Drains, sewer camera and hydro-jetting. Has seen every kind of root a Phoenix tree can grow.

Kim Nguyen, dispatch & customer care
The voice you hear at 7am and, on her nights, at 2am. Gives you a real arrival window.

Licensed, insured, and easy to check
On a real site, the Arizona ROC number appears on every quote and invoice, and you can check it on the state's contractor search.
- AZ ROC #DEMO-0000 (fictional number for this demo)
- Licensed, bonded and insured (demo wording)
- Permits pulled for water heaters, gas lines and repipes where the city requires them
- Background-checked plumbers in plain, clean uniforms with ID

Part of the neighborhood
We keep a few slots each summer for no-cost water heater safety checks for older adults living alone, coordinated through neighborhood associations. We also teach local high school shop students how to find and close their home's main shutoff, because everybody should know where theirs is.
What people say about working with us
“Ray told me my water heater had a few good years left and replaced a thermostat instead. Two years later I called them for the replacement because I trusted them.”
“Clear quote, three options, no pressure. The crew covered the floors and cleaned up better than they found it.”

About us, quickly
Are you a franchise?
No. Saguaro Flow is a locally owned Phoenix plumbing company, not part of a national franchise or private-equity roll-up. Decisions about pricing, scheduling and what we recommend are made here in the Valley, by people who live here and deal with the same hard water and summer heat you do.
Do your plumbers work on commission?
No. Our plumbers aren't paid to sell you bigger jobs. They're paid to fix the problem correctly and leave you happy enough to call us again. That's why you'll often hear the cheaper option first, and why "you don't need that" is an answer you might actually get from us.
