Emergency plumber in Phoenix, any hour
Water where it shouldn't be? Close the main shutoff, then call. A real person answers, gives you an honest arrival window and tells you the diagnostic fee before we send a plumber.
(602) 555-0137Same flat-rate quote at 2am as at 2pm. No overtime markup.
Do this first

1. Shut off the water
- Main shutoff: in most Valley homes it's a ball valve or gate valve on the outside wall near the front hose bib, often on the side facing the street. Some homes have it in the garage near the water heater or softener loop.
- Can't find it or it won't turn? The city meter box near the curb has a shutoff too. It may need a meter key. Tell us on the phone and we'll talk you through it.
- Just one fixture? Use the shutoff under the sink or behind the toilet.

2. Shut off the water heater
If the leak is the water heater, turn the gas valve to "pilot" or "off," or switch off the breaker for an electric unit. Then close the cold-water valve on top of the tank.
3. Protect the house
Move rugs and anything electronic. If water is near outlets or a ceiling is bulging, stay clear and switch off that circuit at the panel if it's safe to reach.
4. Take a few photos
They help us bring the right parts, and your insurance company will ask for them.
If you smell gas
Don't use light switches, appliances or your phone inside. Leave the house, then call 911 or your gas utility's emergency number from outside. When it's safe, we can repair the line.
Emergencies we handle
Burst or leaking pipes
Attic lines, wall lines, broken fittings at the softener or water heater. We stop it, then make the permanent repair, usually the same visit.
Active slab leaks
Hot water running under the floor can climb your bill and soak flooring fast. We isolate the line tonight and schedule detection and repair. Slab leak detection & repair
Water heater failures
Leaking tank, failed drain pan in the attic, water through the ceiling. Most common tanks are on the truck. Water heaters & tankless
Sewage backups
Sewage in the tub, shower or yard cleanout. We clear the line and run a camera so it doesn't happen again next week. Drain cleaning & sewer camera
No water at all
Broken main line, failed PRV, frozen or cracked backflow on one of those rare winter nights. Families with kids, older adults or medical needs, tell us when you call.
Gas line problems
After the gas utility makes it safe, we find and fix the leak and pressure-test the line. Gas line work

Summer is our busy season
When it's 112° out, no water is a health problem and a dead AC drain can flood a hallway. During heat waves we put active leaks, no-water calls, sewage and households with vulnerable people at the front of the line. Routine work gets moved, and we'll tell you honestly if a non-urgent repair can wait until morning.
Monsoon storms
Summer storms bring power outages, flooded yards and dust. Tankless water heaters and recirculation pumps stop working without power, and that's not a plumbing failure. If the power's out, give it time. If water is coming in, call.

What a night call looks like
- You call (602) 555-0137. You'll reach a dispatcher in the Valley, not a call center three states away.
- We ask a few questions and tell you the diagnostic fee and an arrival window.
- The plumber arrives, finds the source and gives you a written flat-rate price for the fix.
- You choose. Fix it now, or make it safe tonight and schedule the full repair during the day. Either is fine.
- We clean up and leave you photos and notes for insurance.
From people who called at a bad hour
“Pipe in the attic split at 11 at night and water was coming through the light fixture. The dispatcher walked me to the shutoff on the phone. Plumber was here before midnight and the quote was the same as daytime.”
“Sewage came up in our shower on a Sunday. They cleared it, showed us the roots on camera, and came back Tuesday for the repair.”

Emergency questions
Is it really the same price at night?
Yes. We don't add after-hours or holiday markups. You'll hear the diagnostic fee on the phone before we dispatch, and the plumber gives you a written flat-rate price for the repair before starting. If you decide to wait until morning, you only pay for what we did tonight.
Is this an emergency or can it wait?
Call it an emergency if water is actively leaking, sewage is backing up, you have no water, or you smell gas (leave and call 911 first). A dripping faucet or slow single drain can usually wait until morning. Not sure? Call us. We'll tell you honestly.
Will my insurance cover a burst pipe?
Many homeowner policies cover sudden water damage from a burst pipe, but usually not the pipe repair itself or slow, long-term leaks. Every policy is different, so check yours. We'll give you dated photos, written findings and an itemized invoice to send to your adjuster.
My water heater is leaking in the attic. What do I do?
Turn the gas valve to off or switch off its breaker, then close the cold-water valve on top of the tank. If water is reaching the ceiling, put a bucket under it and keep people out of that room. Call us; most standard replacement tanks are on our trucks.
